Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a fantaublous week! Here is a card using a new technique. It looks similiar to Bokah (like is done in photography – especially around the holidays with all the pretty lights). What I used on top to make the “bubbles” is White Craft Ink, circles punched out w/ scrapb paper (a variety of sizes), and a dauber. It really is a fun technique. Here is today’s card!
Here is today’s project:
Supplies Used:
- Birthday Surprise Stamp Set
- Pistachio Pudding Card Stock
- Watercolor Paper
- Spritzer (with Water)
- Re Inkers: Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana
- Staz On Black Ink Pad
- Variety Of Circle Punches On Scrap Paper
- Dauber
- Whisper White Craft Ink
- Heat Tool
- Snail Adhesive
How did I do this technique?
I cut my watercolor paper to size. I spritzed it well with water. I took my aqua painter and re inkers and covered the white service ramdomly. I let that dry. I then stamped my sentiment with the Staz On Black Ink Pad (it is waterproof). I then punched out random different sized circles on a scrap paper and used it as a template. I used a dauber and my white craft ink and colored circles on top of my stamped image and background. Make sure you heat set it with a heat tool – craft ink doesnt like to dry very quick. Tada! You have a Bokah Card!
