Good day! Today I used glitter again. I am being a daring woman! Two days in a row.. this is a record breaker! LOL! I was roaming around Hobby Lobby and I found these cute pumpkins. I decided that they needed to be blinged up (yes, this is a new word in Dawn’s Dictionary!). So, they jumped in my cart and I gladly took them home with me. I used a sponge on a stick applicator to apply the tombo glue and then rolled them around in our beautiful black and orange stampin` glitter! I have to say, I love my Tombo glue – that stuff sticks glitter on just about anything really well!
Here is today’s project!
Supplies Used:
- Pumpkins – found at local crafty hobby store
- Halloween Bash Stamp Set
- White Craft Ink Pad
- White Embossing Powder
- Heat Tool
- 1/8 inch Taffeta Ribbon – Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black
- Tombo Glue and foam tipped brush to apply glue to pumpkins
- Decor Labels Collection Framelits
- Big Shot
- Stampin Dimensionals
My best suggestion when doing this is (and yes this is from experience!! LOL). When you do cover these little guys in glue, set them aside FAR away from where you are working – you will be lest apt to 1. keep touching them to see if they are drying and 2. bump them and have them fall to the floor, making a glittery mess on your desk and carpet! Oye! Just sayin! It is all fun and games til the pumpkins go a flying!
