Glitter and Glam Girls Blog Hop! Masculine Cards!

Welcome to the April edition of the Glitter and Glam Girls Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoyed our first hop last month. I appreciate you stopping by the Chalet. This month we are featuring Masculine Cards.

I have a hard time making masculine cards, so this was a great challenge. Stampin Up! is offering a great suite of product in our Occasions Catalog, called Geared Up Garage and this suite makes it easy to make some GREAT dude cards, for sure!

I have good news too! This stamp set and coordinating dies, are carrying over! Yay! But, the designer series paper is not.. boo! But thats okay.. because you really dont need it with these great stamps. Look at the background I made! I love that “grease spot” stamp. Its so cool and grungy!

Here are the designing digits:

Cut a piece of whisper white card stock at 4 1/4 x 11 inches and score at 5 1/2 inches.

Cut a piece of Smoky Slate card stock at 4 x 5 1/4 inches. Stamp the “grease spot” stamp and the “nuts and bolts” stamp in basic gray. Also stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment in basic gray.

I punched a 2 1/4 inch circle w/ my  2 1/4 inch circle punch in basic black.

I used a scrap piece of whisper white cardstock and stamped the mustang in black memento ink and cut out w/ the die and die cut machine. I also cut a piece of 4 x 3/4 inch piece of  tranquil tide card stock

Assemble as pictured. I did use dimensionals on the back of the black circle and also the back of the  mustang car.

A super easy masculine card all set for a dude birthday!

Thank you for stopping by.. now, lets visit my demonstrator friends blogs as well so you can be inspired to make more masculine cards to keep in your stash to have on hand!

Remember, make a card.. send a card! A text or email is nice but receiving a handmade card with your handwriting shows you care and it came from the heart!

Have a great day, make something pretty and get inky! *hugs*
