Glitter and Glam Blog Hop! Summer Fun!

HI everyone! Welcome to our Glitter and Glam Blog Hop once again! I am SO glad you are here! This month our theme is “Summer Fun”! I’m so ready for summer and for some fun!

I was thinking.. what type of card to make for some summer fun! I decided to make a card for a very special celebration coming up quick for a very good friend of mine’s daughter. They are having a post wedding celebration – its going to be quite a party and I wanted to make them a special card. Weddings are so popular this time of year.

I wanted to show you a pretty card that actually has NO stamping! *gasp* I know right?

One of my favorite suites is in our new Stampin Up! Annual Catalog for 2019 – 2020 that goes live on June 4th! Exciting…!!! The suite is called “Good Morning Magnolia” and its gorgeoussssssss!!

So, lets talk about the Magnolia Lane Suite! Its found on page 36-38.

That is a lot of goodies right?

I say.. if you love it.. get it all. It sure makes your crafting experience easier and you dont have to dig for things that match. I really dislike that.. that makes me cringe and its not time efficient either. Life is stressful – crafting should not be.

So, on to my card below! 

I used the Designer Series Paper, some card stock and a Memories and More card from the card pack and added a bow! That was it! NO stamping!

Card Recipe:

Black Card Stock 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2 inches

Whisper White Card Stock (inside of card, insert) 4 x 5 1/4

Petal Pink Card Stock 3 1/8 x 4 1/8 (the mat for the memories and more card with the sentiment)

Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper 5 1/4 x 4 (first layer)

Magnolia Lake Memories and More Card Pack

5/8 in Organdy Stripped Ribbon – make a bow and use a glue dot.

Decorate with the card stock stickers and dimensionals for added interest!
