Hi! Good day! Have you been getting crafty? I loved making this for today’s project. It is so easy.. more time consuming than anything. A lot of the prep can be done while sitting on the couch watching tv! This is a smaller 10 inch -ish foam ring that I found at Hobby Lobby. I bought some shorter push pins and I took 6 pieces of Winter Frost Designer Series Paper (this is pattern paper on both sides), and cut these 12×12 pieces of paper into 1/2 inch strips x 12 inches. I then used my bone folder and curled each piece. After all pieces are curled, you just pin them into the styrofoam wreath. Easy! I then used the ribbon included with the Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit (as it matches this DSP perfectly) and hot glued it to the curly q’s. What a fun project!
Supplies Used:
- Styrofoam Ring
- Push Pins
- Paper Cutter
- Bone Folder
- 6 pieces of Designer Series Paper – I used Winter Frost
- Glue Gun
- Ribbon From the Christmas Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit
- Band Aids ( to cover your finger while curling the paper to avoid paper cuts – yes, been there done that!)
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and are going to give it a try. It is a lot of fun and if you have a younger crafter this would be a great project for you to do together! Thank you for stopping by. Make something pretty and get inky!! *hugs*
