Hi there! Good day to you! I thought I’d show you a super cute, quick Easter basket.. a tall one for those long and lean chocolate bunnies! I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper on this.. and if you want this pack of paper, grab it up soon – it is a Sale A Bration item and Sale A Bration ends on March 31st! I’m so sad to see it go.. seems like the party just started!
Here is today’s project:
Supplies Used:
- Delightful Dozen Stamp Set
- Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper – SAB
- Sahara Sand and Crisp Cantaloupe Card Stocks
- Jet Black Staz On Ink Pad
- Deco Label Framelits
- Big Shot
- Elegant Butterfly Punch
- Large Rhinestones
- Vintage Faceted Buttons
- Linen Thread
- Snail Adhesive, Glue Dots and Stampin Dimensionals
Here is how I made the box…
Cut Card Stock to 8×11. On the long side, score at 2 1/2, 5, 7 1/2, and 10 inches Flip and score at 1 1/2 inches
Cut off smallest flap and then fold along all score lines. Assemble box with Sticky Strip as your adhesive.
Add designer series paper as your belly band to box (I socred using the same scoring measurements for the box, to make it easy to wrap around the box).
Take the 1×8 inch piece of “scrap” to make your handle. Decorate as desired!
PS I used brads to hold the handle in place along with adhesive, but to hide them, I used the Vintage Faceted Buttons to make it a little extra “pretty”.
I hope you give it a try and make yourself a tall treat box for your bunny, too! Thank you for stopping by today! Make it a great day, make something pretty and get inky!!! *hugs*
