A Little Watercoloring With The Aquapainter

HI there! Here is a fun card to make using the watercolor paper that is found on page 156 along with the other specialty  papers that Stampin` Up! carries. Have you tried the aquapainter? It is found on page 164 at the very top of the page. All you do is add a little tap water into the reservoir. I use my ink pads as my color palette and just gently swipe back and forth, with 2 or 3 different colors for a soft color background.

Watercolor and Chalk Talk

  • Chalk Talk Stamp Set
  • Whisper White Card Stock
  • Crumb Cake Card Stock
  • Watercolor Paper
  • Staz On Black Ink Pad
  • Chalk Talk Framelits
  • Big Shot
  • Aqua Painters
  • Tap Water
  • Old Olive, Wild Wasabi and Bermuda Bay Classic Inks (for the water color background)
  • Snail Adhesive
  • Stampin Dimensionals

The Aqua Painter and Water Color Paper make for a great “team” and now and then, it is fun to paint – and very relaxing! I hope this inspires you to grab your Aqua Painter and give it a try.. there really isn’t a way you can mess this technique up. Each time the background will be unique.
