Hi and Happy Thursday! How are you? I am back. I had to take a few days break. I cannot put my finger on it, but I have not been super creative lately. I am guessing stress and lack of sleep may be the problem. I am trying to get back on track. It is not a good time of year to experience a creative slump. Ugh! I wanted to share another item that I was selling at my vendor shows. I have to admit, not all the things I made were my ideas. I get very inspired from others too. I think that is part of what creativity is all about thought. Find something that “ignites” that excitement to create and run with it.
Here is today’s project:
So, what are these cuties? They are Orbit Gub made into a cute ltle giftie! When you untie the ribbon, the Orbit gum slides out – they are fun to give out as a small gift to let someone know you care – and so economical!
Supplies Used:
- Orbit Gum
- Misc. Ribbon – I love our Seam Binding Ribbon In Various Colors
- Garden Green and Real Red Card Stock
- Mingle All The Way Stamp Set
- Versamark Ink Pad
- Whisper White Embossing Powder
- Heat Tool
- Snail Adhesive, Sticky Strip and Stampin Dimensionals
For the basic “Gum Wrapper”
Cardstock: 3 3/4 in x 5 1/2 in – Score at 1/2, 21/2, 3 and 5 inches.
Designer Paper: Cut at 1 3/4 in x 3 1/2 in
You will want to punch a hole at the top of the gum wrapper before you adhere the “wrapper” together – this way it helps you lne it up a little earier so your holes match up, if that makes sense.
Decorate as desired and give it as a gift or stocking stuffer! Make someone’s day!
