Stampin Creative Blog Hop – Glitter And Glamour!

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
February 25th, 2021

Hello there! Welcome to the Stampin Creative Blog Hop for February 2021! This month’s theme is all about Glitter and Glamour! I decided to use the Hearts and Kisses Bundle – I love the lips in this set and the punch that goes with it. Its hard to see in the phots but between the basic rhinestones and the Wink Of Stella on the lips.. its pretty “glitzy”.

Let’s check out my creation:

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today! Now, let’s hop around together and check out all the beautiful creations that my fellow Stampin Creative friends have created!

Here is what I used on my card in case you want to gather supplies and re-create it!

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
July 30th, 2020

Welcome to the Stampin Creative Blog Hop! For July we have some fun Min Treats to share with you. Get some inspiration and great ideas and maybe get ahead on some holiday ideas? I know I am!

I made a 2, 4, 6, 8 box.. super simple. No lid.. just used a bag and twine to tie the bag shut. You could put any mini treat or even a small hand sanitizer in it for a friend!

Here are the deets:

5 x 8 1/2 inches piece of card stock and score on the long side at 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches. Score on 1 of the short sides at 2 inches. Assemble your box!

The DSP (Magic In This Night) NEW 2020 Holiday Catalog 1 3/4 inches x 2 3/4 inches.

Stamp Set: Everything Essential (Holiday 2020)

Punch: Essential Tag Punch (Holiday 2020)

Ribbon: 1 1/2 inch Metallic Mesh Ribbon (Holiday 2020) – it almost looks like a spider web.. its really cool!

Featured Colors: Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock and Whisper White.

I hope you have enjoyed my project.. super easy and it can be a box used for so many different themes/ holidays. And, the best part.. EASY!

Now, lets hop around and explore what my friends across the globe created! Be inspired with those listed below and.. thank you again for being a part of our blog hop:

Dont forget.. today is the last day to take advantage of the Bonus Day Coupos! For every $50 you spend, Stampin Up! will send you a $5 coupon! Now is a great time to stock up on your card stock, and adhesives before the holidays approach!

Have a great day.. make something pretty and get inky!

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
December 2nd, 2019

Happy December! Welcome to the Glimmer and Glam Girls Blog Hop for November! This months’ theme is Christmas and the Holidays! Yes! It’s that time of year already. Halloween is over and now, the holidays are around the corner. Yikes right?

I have a very cute and duplicate project for you today using our gorgeous gold pizza boxes and the Perfectly Plaid bundle! These are just a few of my favorite things…

Let’s take a look!

Digits and Directions:

  1. use one of our gold pizza boxes to decorate. They are the perfect size by the way for a cookie, some chocolates, or 3×3 notecards!
  2. Using a piece of whisper white and perfectly plaid scrap paper, cut out each piece at 1×3 and dovetail the edges.
  3. Using the Merry Christmas Stamp from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler
  4. Punch out a Cherry Cobbler with the Starburst Circle Punch. Glue to the box with a few Stampin Dimensionals.
  5. Using some scrap Whisper White and Shaded Spruce, stamp the tree on each color using Shaded Spruce classic ink.
  6. Using the Pine Tree Punch, punch both out and ahere to the circle with Stampin Dimensionals.
  7. Glue together the “flags” with snail adhesive. then using some bakers twine, wrap around the edge and tie a cute bow. Adhere with Stampin Dimensionals.
  8. Fill with your favorite treats – as these boxes are food safe! Enjoy giving it to your BFF!

I hope you have enjoyed my quick simple and cute project! Now, make sure to continue around our blog hop and be inspired for the holidays!

Glitter And Glam Blog Hop – This months theme: Thanksgiving!

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
October 7th, 2019

Hi! Welcome to this month’s blog hop with the Glitter and Glam Girls Blog Hop Team! We are happy to share some great Thankgiving ideas with you this month!

I have to say, I am LOVING our fall choices in our 2019 Stampin Up! Holiday Catalog! The colors, the designer series papers and the bundles! It all makes me so happy! I am pretty partial to fall anyway! I just don’t enjoy what comes after fall! Brr! I am a Michigan girl, after all!

So, here is my card! It features the DSP from the Gather Together Suite and the Harvest Hellos Bundle (with a punch! Yahoo!).

Let’s share some digits:

Terracotta Tile Card Stock is 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2 inches

Whisper White card stock is cut at 4 x 5 1/4 inches

The DSP is cut at 2×4 inches

I cut a piece of the Terracotta In Color Ribbon @ 5 inches and wrapped it around to the back. I then took a smaller piece and tied it into a knot.

I used scrap pieces for the pumpkin and punch. The colors of the pumpkins are Pear Pizzaz, Terracotta Tile and Mint Macaron. The “stems” are Early Espresso and the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set is in Early Espresso Ink.

I love this layout and could be used for other stamp sets as well, different themes.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today! Now, please continue through our blog and check out all of my blog team’s creations.. because they are super talented and they rock! 🙂
