Stampin Creative Blog Hop! February Theme: Case Shelli!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! We at the Stampin Creative Crew are celebrating February with Case-ing Shelli (Gardner). By CASEing, I mean Copy and Share Everything. I love Shelli’s style. And, while at Onstage last November, I was drooling over this card Shelli created and could not wait to re-create it… CASE it! And, since Easter is “around the corner”, I thought I’d share this with you!

Let’s check out what I created!

I decided to do two projects – 1 3D and 1 Card. Both are “hinged” with a brad. I loved that Shelli showed this on stage. What a brilliant idea with the Dino Dies! They coordinate with our new Easter stamp set in the Spring Mini Catalog, called Full Of Happiness!

This is a very small box that may fit a few candies or a pair of earings. I hinged the Dino Egg with a brad and hid it with a ribbon and have the bunny popping up to greet you. The bunny is from the Spring Mini Catalog, called Welcome Easter!

So, I admit, I was not really thrilled with this chick.. until I started to create with this stamp set. Again, I used the Dino Dies, and the Full Of Happiness Stamp Set. I heat embossed the Best Dressed DSP with white embossing powder to give it a polished look. I cut the flower image out of the Best Dressed DSP and popped it up with dimensionals. I used Wink Of Stella, to pretty it up a little and give it some sparkle!

Abstract Impressions – Stampin` Up! CASEing the Catalog!

I wanted to share one of my favorite stamp sets (and suites!) on pages 128 – 129 of our Annual Catalog. I just love this whole suite.. The Abstract Impressions Stamp Set (item 147513) $26.00, the Springtime Impressions Thinlits (item 146326) $29.00, or buy these together as a bundle and use item #148348 and save 10% (49.50). On page 130, you will find more goodness to coordinate with this suite too! We have the Garden Impressions 6×6 paper stack (item #146299) $11.00, The metallic ribbon combo pack (item #146329) $9.00, the Garden Impressions Cardsock Pack (item #146325) $8.50 and the big shot embossing matts (item #146327) $15.00.

The designer series paper just rocks my socks. It is one of my favorites. It features so many coordinating ink colors:

Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Night Of Navy, Pacific Point, Petal Pink, Powder Pink, Shaded Spruce, Soft Seafoam, So Saffron, and Whisper White.
