October Stampin Creative Blog Hop – Remember!

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
October 29th, 2020

Hello! Welcome once again to our monthly “Stampin Creative” Global Blog Hop! I’m so happy you are hoppin` around with us.

This month’s theme is “Rember” and I have to admit, at first I was stumped. I started my paper addiction as a scrapbooker – I tried stamping and I was hooked! It was a smaller “canvas” to work on and I felt I could get more accomplished making cards than the time it would take me to do a 2 paqge spread. Can anyone relate?

Needless to say.. I wanted to challenge myself. The word “Remember” lead me to trying a scrapbook page.

We recently carved a few pumpkins for the Inn which greet each guest just outside the lobby door. I decided I needed to get a few photos – but with my most favorite pumpkins of all.. my 2 furbabies Krystal and Ruby. Aren’t they the cutest Cocker Spaniels ever?

Ok I’m partial.. but lets get back to the hop! LOL

So, I decided to take this picture and scrapbook it! (I know.. don’t fall off of your chair!) Stampin Up!’s amazing products make it so easy to mix and match – weather you are memory keeping, making cute gifts or card making.

Here is my 12×12 scrapbook page mixing it up with some products from the Annual Catalog, Holiday Catalog and our September 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit!

Now, lets hang out with our Global friends blogs and check out there beautiful creations! If you have time, please leave a comment and let me know you were here! Just click on the little “speak bubble” just under the title of the post today – its that easy!

Here are the supplies I used:

Thanks again for visiting – remmeber… the Designer Series Paper Sale is still going on and that awesome Plaid Tidings DSP is 15% off! (its my FAVORITE!).

Happy Hoppin!

Stampin Creative Blog Hop & Fancy Folds

Posted by Dawn Bourgette on
September 24th, 2020

Hello there! Welcome to the Stampin Creative Blog Hop today! This month for September, we are featuring Fancy Folds!

One of my all time favorite “fancy folds” is the Double Z Fold Card. Its so easy, and it displays our Designer Series Papers so well!

For me, its all about Halloween. I love fall, and I love the Halloween Holiday. Lets check out my creation:

So, let’s check out the “recipe” and digits for you:

Stamp Set / Bundle Hallows Night Magic

Paper: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Hallows Night Magic DSP

Ink: Memento Black Ink

Other Supplies: Heat Tool, White Embossing Powder, Stampin Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, 3/8 inch organdy glittered black ribbon, iridescent pearls,

  1. Cut the Black card stock at 11 x 4 1/4 inches and score along the long side at 51/2 and 8 1/4 inches. Cut the DSP at 5 1/4 and 4 inches and add it to the back.
  2. Cut the Cajun Craze card stock at 3 1/4 inches x 10 inches and score along the long side at 4 1/2 and 7 1/4 inches. Fold on the scores and cut the DSP at 4 1/4 x 3 inches and 3 x 2 1/2 inches. Layer to the panels.
  3. Wrap the ribbon around the end and then make a bow and adhere with a few glue dots.
  4. Cut out the larger label die in Basic Black card stock. Using some scrap, stamp in black the “label” stamp and cut out with the smaller label die. Adhere each layer with dimensionals. Using the larger bat stamp, use the Versamark ink pad, and stamp on a basic black piece of scrap. Using the bat die, cut them out after heat embossing them. and attach with a dimensional.
  5. To give a little extra color, I used 5 of the iridescent pearls.
  6. Make sure to send a spooky card to your friends and family!

Now, let’s check out what my friends around the globe created for our blog hop this month! If you have time, please leave a comment at each so we know you were here visiting each of us. Thank you so much and happy hopping! Oh, and Happy Halloween as well!
