Hi there! I thought I’d tell you a little about me! I have been a paper crafter since I was in High School (that was almost many moons ago!), since the early 80’s. I scrapbooked before scrapbooking was “hip and cool”. I have always been “artsy fartsy” and love to play with art products. In the early 90’s I was introduced to Stampin’ Up! I “party crashed” a workshop locally and became instantly hooked! I love that Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to color coordinate paper, ink, ribbon, buttons, brads and more! I’m a very “matchy matchy” kind of gal! I continued to scrapbook and stamp thru the 90’s and helped out a major ink company (Ranger Ink) for several years – teaching retailers how to use the latest and greatest products at an annual event called, CHA. I believe that art is like fashion.. we all “wear it” differently to express ourselves creatively!
I have been blessed with some amazing opportunities in the crafting industry! I held a full day retreat and worked directly with Carol Duvall. For those of you who know her from HGTV, she is an amazing lady! It was a full day of crafting at its finest – what a blast!
Since then, I have continued on with my passion for paper crafting! I love to keep up with the latest and greatest trends. In November of 2010, I decided to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and I and so happy to be a part of the Stampin’ Up! family! I love being part of a “community” of stampers who are so talented. I have a passion for teaching others just how easy paper crafting really is! I am part of an awesome team and I work hard to make sure my team members have the help they need, to be successful whichever route they decide to go once they purchase the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit!
Since joining Stampin` Up! a lot has changed! I joined as a hobbyist. I attended my first Convention and decided to try to turn my hobby into a business. I’ve made silly mistakes along the way but it has been a wonderful journey. I had set big goals for myself – I wanted to promote my title and to someday earn an incentive trip.
This year, 2015 I’ve marked a few of those goals off of my bucket list. I have reached Manager as my title. I have also earned my first incentive trip, to the Mediterranean – and I cannot be more excited!! Also, another big achievement that totally caught me off guard – I made Founters Circle for 2015! This is a HUGE honor. I represent the top 100 demonstrators in the USA and Canada. What a journey so far.. and I cannot wait to see what is ahead for the future. I just love what I do and I love to share my passion of paper crafting with everyone!
I am located in Ludington, Michigan (North West Side Of the state along Lake Michigan).. It is a small town with a population of 8,500 people. It is a beautiful and very inspiring place to live. I am just 1 mile from the Lake Michigan beach. I am a small business owner – I own a lodging establishment (my full time job), and am fortunate to have a spacious, comfortable meeting room, to hold parties, and classes in (my Stampin’ Up! Funtine Job!)! I truly enjoy teaching anything paper and ink! I strive for my customers to be comfortable and feel welcome when they come over to have some stamping fun! I hold trendy, enjoyable classes monthly – I would love to stamp with you and your friends, too!
Along with me being obsessive with my paper crafting hobby, I am a motorcyclist and snowmobiler!. Yes, you got it, I am a Harley chickie! To give you a bigger chuckle, I used stamping products when I had my bike repainted! It is a TRUE crafter’s Harley – my 2004 Sportster! My other “hobbies” are being a little of a techie nerd (or I try to be), along with the exercise of Zumba and Shopping at the mall! 🙂
If you would like to learn more about paper crafting – I would love to share it with you! Feel free to contact me anytime. I could talk paper crafting for hours! Love paper crafting already? You should consider joining my Chalet Stamping Team – we are a fun group of ladies who just love to create! I love both hobby and business demonstrators on my team! We support each other daily and keep in touch through our Team Facebook Group!
I hope to get to stamp with you, very soon! Make something pretty and get inky!! *hugs*
